Sayre class reunion pictures being posted on Web site

SAYRE — Ninth-grade Sayre student Robbie Watkins is working on putting up pictures of past class reunions on the Sayre Area School District Web site, Sayre School Board member Kay Husick said at the Sayre School Board meeting on Monday night.
Each class reunion picture that the school has in its archives has been posted onto a site off the main page of the Web site, including the reunions of 1905, 1915, 1930, 1931, 1932, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1937, 1938, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1949, 1952, 1953, 1954, 1957, 1958, 1964 and 1972.
After he is finished posting the class reunion pictures, Husick said he hopes to go on to post graduating class pictures, and then if he is able, sports pictures.
Husick said that the school doesn’t have all the class reunion pictures for each graduating class. If anyone has a picture or a high-quality copy of a picture of a class reunion, she said she would appreciate it being brought to the Sayre High School so that it can be put on the Web site and a framed print of it can be hung in the school.
