Theft reported in Warren Twp.

Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda have reported a theft that occurred between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Nov. 23, 2016 at Wagner’s General Store in Warren Township.

Police state an unknown actor stole $37 of gasoline and left the gas station without paying. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda at (570) 265-2186.

Sayre man charged with DUI

Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda charge Frederick Andrew Peters, 20, of Sayre with driving under the influence following a traffic stop that was initiated at 11:07 p.m. on Dec. 22, 2016 on Sheshequin Road in Sheshequin Township.

Police state that a traffic stop was initiated on Peters’ 1987 Ford Ranger and, upon further investigation, he was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. Charges were filed with District Court 42-3-03.

Theft reported in Wyalusing Boro

Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda report a theft that occurred between 4 p.m. on Jan. 3 and 7 a.m. on Jan. 4 at a job site off of East Third Street in Wyalusing Borough.

Police state the victim had a Dewalt Dry Gore Grinder stolen from the job site. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda at (570) 265-2186.

Canton man charged with DUI

Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda have charged Timothy Davis, 42, of Canton with driving under the influence of drugs following a traffic stop that was initiated at 8:14 p.m. on Dec. 26, 2016 on state Route 14 in Canton Township.

Police state that a traffic stop was initiated on Davis’ vehicle due to multiple Pennsylvania vehicle code violations. Upon making contact with Davis, it was determined he was under the influence of drugs. Davis was arrested for DUI. Charges have been filed in District Court 42-3-01.

Scattered rubbish reported in Troy Twp.

Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda report the scattering of rubbish on the victim’s property on 4 p.m. on Jan. 5 at a residence on East Troy Back Road in Troy Township.

Police state that an unknown actor threw garbage onto the victim’s property and then fled the scene apparently undetected. Anyone with information concerning the incident is encouraged to call Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda.

Vehicle drives through Litchfield School District’s fields

Pennsylvania State Police report a criminal mischief that occurred between Dec. 30 and Dec. 31, 2016 at the Old Litchfield Elementary School in Litchfield Township.

Police state an unknown actor or actors drove a vehicle through the fields of the Litchfield Township Elementary School. The actor or actors then fled the scene in an unknown direction. Anyone with information regarding the investigation is advised to contact Trooper Grimes at Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda at (570) 265-2186.

Firearms stolen in Rome Twp.

Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda are currently investigating an alleged theft of firearms that occurred between July 21 and Sept. 1, 2016 at a residence on Towner Hill Road in Rome Township.
