WYALUSING — Troy jumped out to a 22-6 first quarter lead en route to their 53-35 win over Wyalusing in NTL Division-I boys’ basketball action Monday.

Anthony Deitrick had 16 points to lead the Trojans while Seldon Rogers added 10.

Clark Jackson and Nate Martin had seven points each, Ja Wallace added four while Ben Ward netted two.

Jon Morrison had a double-double of 15 points and 11 boards to lead Wyalusing while he added five steals.

Calvin Burke netted 10 points while Elijah Bennett added four points. Scott Eberlin added three, Drew Masters had two while Will Martin had one point and three assists.

Girls

Williamson 43, Addison 41

The Warriors held on to pick-up the non-league girls’ basketball win Monday.

Williamson led 24-16 at the half and continued to lead 35-28 after the third quarter.

Addison out-scored Williamson 13-8, but couldn’t get over the hump.

Andrea Sheive had a double-double of 18 points and 13 boards to lead the Warriors while Makyla Butz added nine.

Maran Davis scored six, Hannah Deacon had five, Brittany Boyce netted three while Emma Durst scored two.

Taylor Sutryls led Addison with 12 points while Tayah Jackson added 11 points.

Galeton 62, Bucktail 21

Makaya Shadle had 17 points and Cortney Parsell added 15 to lead the Tigers to a non-league basketball win Monday.

Laura Parsell netted nine, Katelyn Pagano and Jessie Evans had five points each, Olivia Pogano added four points while Haylee Ludington, Cara Parsell and Kitara O’Donnell had two points each.

Eva Olofson added one point for Galeton.

Galeton won the JV game 34-29 behind 12 points from Ludington.

The Tigers improve to 8-2 on the season.

Jersey Shore 63, Troy 42

Morgan Gentile was held to a season-low 12 points in the loss for the Trojans.

Sam Gentile led Troy with 19 points while Carla Proto added five.

Vanessa Watson scored four while Stephanie Pazzaglia netted two.

Hannah Karlman had 23 points to lead Jersey Shore.
