Troy assault

A Troy man was charged with terroristic threats, harassment, and three counts of simple assault after a domestic incident on May 3.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, Brien Keith Ike, 46, of Troy threatened a victim by putting a knife to their throat. This happened after a dog got loose from the victim’s home, where Ike was at the time, and she left to go chase it. After about an hour and a half the victim said a stranger helped her get her dog back. Ike, who was in town, began to accuse the victim of being with another man and taking his credit card. They both went back to the victim’s residence and the argument continued there where he threatened the victim by holding a knife to her throat. When the victim tried to push away the knife, she was cut on the finger. Ike denied the occurrence happened as the victim reported.

Ike was arrested on May 3 and has a monetary bail set at $25,000. There was a preliminary hearing scheduled May 10.
