C&N Giving Back, Giving Together raises over $129K for food banks

C&N’s Giving Back, Giving Together program raised $129,129 for area food banks, which will provide more than 775,000 meals to those in need. Employees also collected 3,012 necessity items and volunteered 290 hours at food banks. In April 2020, C&N partnered with 17 area food banks, which ended up serving a greater need due to the COVID-19 pandemic while donations and the availability of in-person volunteers decreased. C&N made an initial $40,000 donation to the Central PA Food Bank, and then collected donations through online T-shirts sales and raffles, in-person fundraisers, and a scaled down version of its Charity Classic golf tournament.
