Kali’s Mission begins trapping in Towanda Borough

Kali’s Mission completed its first two cat trappings of the season in Towanda Borough. The van (shown here), a 2007 Hyundai Entourage, was purchased for the mission and You Too Animal Rescue, through the generosity of an anonymous donation. The April 28 effort successfully trapped, spayed/neutered and vaccinated 11 cats throughout the borough. The May 5 trapping aided an additional nine cats. A total of 146 cats have been trapped since the program started in 2019, preventing approximately 584 new litters — about 2,336 kittens from being born homeless. Kali’s Mission will continue as long as weather allows and funds are available. Anyone wishing to help may send donations to: Kali’s Mission, 306 William St., Towanda PA 18848.
