Keystone College glass blowing demo visits Harlan Rowe

Keystone College Instructor, Michael Swanson wowed the students at Harlan Rowe with their mobile glass blowing demo. Senior ceramics major, Emma, assisted Swanson as students were able to see a conductivity demo, supercooled glass, centripetal force, along with the beauty and artistic aspects of blowing glass. During the experience, the students witnessed how STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) work together. The students thoroughly enjoyed the event, and Mrs. Roberts (art teacher) along with Mrs. Kemp (STEM/science teacher) were incredibly thankful to offer this unique opportunity to their students.
