Sayre Area school district, business association holds winter walk
The Sayre Area School District and Sayre Business Association held a winter walk and Sayre Redskin mascot scavenger hunt on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Island Pond walking route. Participants took selfies with mascots as they found them in storefronts and stopped by the Sayre High School at the Lockhart Street entrance to show their selfies to a committee member to enter into a drawing. The Sayre Area School District posted on Facebook that resident Denee Horton was the chosen winner and that she’d be receiving an Amazon gift card.
