LOWER NAZARETH TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say a 6-year-old Pennsylvania boy has been run over by a lawn mower and has suffered life-threatening injuries.
The Easton Express Times reports the accident happened Monday at a home in Lower Nazareth Township.
Colonial Regional police Chief Roy Seiple said the boy's father was operating the mower when the boy's legs were trapped in the blades. Police said the father used his belt as a tourniquet.
Emergency workers helped the boy's father free the boy from the blades.
Police said Tuesday the boy was last listed in stable condition in the intensive care unit.
