Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported the following recent Bradford County criminal case resolutions:

Magisterial District Court

Timothy Davis, 36, Waverly, New York, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Larry Hurley to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to 21 days of incarceration, and a fine of $300.00, plus court costs. Officer Casey Shiposh of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Davis for the offense on Nov. 23, 2018, following investigation of a possession of drug paraphernalia incident that occurred in Sayre Borough.

Stormy Kissell, 29, Towanda, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to 90 days of incarceration, plus court costs. Trooper Cody Harmen of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kissell for the offense on Jan. 16, 2019, following investigation of a parole violation that occurred in Wysox Township.

Gavin Teel, 19, Towanda, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton to the offense of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to a fine of $250.00, plus court costs. Trooper Gregory Pimm of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Teel for the offense on March 23, 2019, following investigation of a traffic violation that occurred in Wysox Township.

Bryant Frisbie, 57, Sayre, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Larry Hurley to the offense of Ignition Interlock Violation, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to a fine of $300.00, plus court costs. Officer Casey Shiposh of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Frisbie for the offense on April 17, 2019, following investigation of an ignition interlock violation that occurred in Sayre Borough.

Adam Morneau, 27, Endicott, New York, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Larry Hurley to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to a fine of $300.00, plus court costs. Officer Nate Ross of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Morneau for the offense on Aug. 4, 2014, following investigation of a possession of drug paraphernalia incident that occurred in Sayre Borough.

Carl Reynolds, 43, Sayre, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Larry Hurley to the offense of Criminal Mischief, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and Disorderly Conduct, also a misdemeanor of the third degree. Reynolds was sentenced to 10 days of incarceration, and restitution of $89.00, plus court costs. Officer Spencer of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Reynolds for the offenses on June 8, 2019, following investigation of a disturbance that occurred in Sayre Borough.

Bruce Ardrey, 61, Sayre, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Larry Hurley to the offense of Harassment, a summary offense, and was sentenced to a fine of $300.00, plus court costs. Officer Nikki Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Ardrey for the offense on June 7, 2011, following investigation of a harassment incident that occurred in Sayre Borough.

Justin Frons, 29, Athens, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Todd Carr to the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to a fine of $200.00, plus court costs. Trooper Justin Walton of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Irons for the offense on Feb. 20, 2019, following investigation of a possession of a controlled substance incident that occurred in Sheshequin Township.

Andrew VanZile, 34, Corning, New York, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Todd Carr to the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to a fine of $200.00, plus court costs. Trooper Michael Tracy of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested VanZile for the offense on Nov. 30, 2018, following investigation of a possession of a controlled substance incident that occurred in Ulster Township.

Lori Lane, 52, Sayre, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Larry Hurley to the offense of Retail Theft, a summary offense, and was sentenced to a fine of $150.00, plus court costs. Officer John Fedorchak of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Lane for the offense on March 21, 2019, following investigation of a retail theft that occurred in Athens Township.

Alexsandra Austin, 26, Ulster, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Larry Hurley to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to a fine of $300.00, plus court costs. Officer Nathan Ross of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Austin for the offense on May 19, 2019, following investigation of a possession of drug paraphernalia incident that occurred in Sayre Borough.

Joshua Orcutt, 19, Athens, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Larry Hurley to the offense of Harassment, a summary offense, and was sentenced to a fine of $100.00, plus court costs. Officer Eric Ecker of the Athens Borough Police Department arrested Orcutt for the offense on April 26, 2019, following investigation of a harassment incident that occurred in Athens Borough.

Joshua Decker, 25, Waverly, New York, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Larry Hurley to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to a fine of $300.00, plus court costs. Officer Denny Slater of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Decker for the offense on May 15, 2019, following investigation of a possession of drug paraphernalia incident that occurred in Athens Township.

District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported the following recent criminal case resolutions in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pennsylvania:

SENTENCED

Teresa Hongach, 52, Towanda, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for three months to 12 months, plus court costs, for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Officer Casey Shiposh of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Hongach for the offense occurring on April 10, 2018.

Floyd Roberts, 62, Wysox, was resentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to six months, and fines of $1000.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. He will also lose his driver’s license for 12 months Trooper John Kasheta of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Roberts following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox Township on July 21, 2018.

James Smith, 54, of Towanda, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 90 days to 24 months, followed by probation supervision for a term of 36 months, and fines of $1500, plus court costs, for the offense of Driving under the influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. He will also lose his driver’s license for 18 months. Trooper Blade Bernosky of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Smith following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township on June 6, 2018.

Mark Saxbury, 54, Towanda, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a term of 45 days followed by probation supervision for a term of 12 months, and County Intermediate Punishment for 24 months, for the offenses of Fleeing and Eluding, a felony of the third degree, Driving under the Influence, a misdemeanor of the first degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. County Intermediate Punishment involves a combination of restrictions and supervision. It may include home confinement, electronic monitor, and substance abuse treatment. Violations can result in incarceration. Saxbury will pay fines of $3000.00, plus court costs, and he will also lose his driver’s license for 42 months, Trooper Robert Borkowski and Trooper Gregory Pimm both of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Saxbury following investigation of incidents that occurred in Sheshequin and Towanda Townships on Nov. 3, 2018, and Feb. 18, 2019.

Rebecca Lane, 33, Sayre, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for a term of four months to 18 months, followed by probation supervision for a term of 12 months and, fines of $600.00, plus court costs, for the offenses of Unauthorized use if a Motor Vehicle, a misdemeanor of the second degree, Flight to Avoid Apprehension, a misdemeanor of the second degree, and Criminal Trespass, a felony of the third degree. Officer Nikki Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Lane for the first offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in Sayre Borough on Sept. 27, 2018. Officer Ryan Edsell of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Lane for the remaining offenses occurring on Jan. 4, 2019.

Gabriel Ceeley, 19, Troy, was re-sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for four months to 12 months, fines of $350.00, and restitution of $285.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Receiving Stolen Property, a felony of the third degree. Trooper Michael Murtha of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Ceely following investigation of an incident that occurred in Burlington Township on August 16, 2017.

Jonathan Robbins, 24, Milan, was sentenced to probation supervision for a term of 12 months, and fines of $500.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer Hunter Condusta of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Robbins for the offense occurring on Nov. 30, 2019.

Jon Watkins, 34, Sayre, was sentenced to Probation Supervision for a term of 12 months, and fines of $250.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Officer Travis Snyder of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Watkins for the offense occurring on Sept. 19, 2018.

Daniel Bolsar, 30, Columbia Cross Roads, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 33 days to 12 months, and fines of $1500.00, plus court costs, for the offenses of two counts of Driving under the Influence, misdemeanors of the second degree. Officer Michael Lamanna of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Bolsar for the first offense occurring on Oct. 7, 2018. Trooper Robert Edgerton of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Bolsar for the second offense following investigation of incidents that occurred in Towanda Township on Aug. 10, 2018.

Wayne Talada, 32, Athens, was sentenced to Probation Supervision for a term of 24 months, and fines of $500.00, for the offense of Indecent Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Sergeant James Shaw of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Talada for a complaint filed on Oct. 12, 2019.

Marcus Frisbie, 36, of Ulster, was re-sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for five months to 15 months and, fines of $150.00, for the offenses of Theft by Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Officer Richard Horton of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Frisbie for the offense occurring on May 6, 2017.

Ryan Kendall , 31, of Granville Summit, was re-sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional facility for five months to 15 months and, fines of $550.00, for the offenses of Endangering the Welfare of Children, a misdemeanor of the first degree, and Harassment, a summary offense. Trooper Drew Godfrey of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kendall for one of the offenses following investigation of incidents that occurred in Leroy Township on May 22. Trooper Keith Herbert of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kendall for the other offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in Granville Township on Sept. 12, 2017.

GUILTY PLEAS

Danielle Montgomery, 24, Binghamton, New York, entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Montgomery will be sentenced Aug. 12, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Jason Serfas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Montgomery for the offense on Oct. 28, 2018.

Cassidy Slingerland, 19, Troy, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Slingerland will be sentenced on Aug. 12, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Hunter Condusta of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Slingerland for the offense on Jan. 12, 2019.

Christopher Heasley, 30, Columbia Crossroads, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Heasley will be sentenced on Aug. 15, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Gregory Pimm of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Healey following investigation of an incident that occurred in Springfield Township on Oct. 26, 2018.

Christina Anderson, 18, Ulster, entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of two counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking, felonies of the third degree. Anderson will be sentenced on Aug. 12, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer John Fedorchak of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Anderson for the first offense on Jan. 11, 2019. Trooper John Borkowski of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Anderson for the second offense following investigation of an incident that occurred in Ulster Township on Jan. 11, 2019.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were recently accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pennsylvania:

Jacob Stone, 27, Roaring Branch, charged with the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Stone will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Stone must perform 24 hours of community service. Trooper Gregory Pimm of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Stone for an offense on Feb. 6, 2019 in North Towanda Township.

Curtis Jewett, 24, Apalachin, New York, charged with the offense of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Jewett will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Jewett must perform 24 hours of community service. Trooper Gregory Pimm of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Stone for an offense on Feb. 8, 2019 in Wysox Township.

Dillan Smith, 22, Wyalusing, charged with the offense of Driving Under the Influence, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Smith will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Smith must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel. He will also lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper Luke Geiger of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Smith for an offense on Dec. 23, 2018 in Wyalusing Township.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following entered a plea of “no contest”. The plea has the same effect as a guilty plea. It is entered when a defendant cannot recall the crime charged.

Mark Saxbury, 54, Towanda, entered a plea of nolo contendere/no contest to Fleeing and Eluding, a felony of the third degree, and Driving Under the Influence, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Saxbury was sentenced on June 20, 2019, following preparation of a pre-sentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. A no-contest plea is entered where the defendant cannot recall the event but will be held guilty and sentenced. Trooper Gregory Pimm of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Saxbury following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township on Feb. 18, 2019.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pennsylvania:

Stephen A. Martin, 36, Lowman, New York, was sentenced to Incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for eleven months and 29 days to 23 months and 29 days. Martin had 271 days of time-served on the date of his sentencing. Martin will pay fines, plus court costs, for the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Trooper William Clark of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Martin following investigation of an incident that occurred in the BCCF in Burlington Township on August 2017.

Brian M. Hendershot, 30, Barton, New York, was sentenced to incarceration in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility for 18 months to 84 months; Hendershot will pay fines, plus court costs, for the offense of Aggravated Assault by Driving Under the Influence. Officer Thomas Zebrowski of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Hendershot for the offense occurring on April 21, 2018.

Ricky Hinckley, 50, Towanda, was sentenced to Probation Supervision for a term of 24 months, and fines of $1500.00, plus court costs, for the offenses of three counts of Indecent Exposure, all misdemeanors of the second degree. Trooper Justin Millard of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Hinckley following investigation of an incident that occurred in Monroe Township on Jan. 8, 2019.

Seth Winters, 41, Ulster, was sentenced to incarceration in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility for 12 months plus 48 hours to 66 months, fines of $4500.00, plus court costs, for the offenses of Aggravated Assault, a felony of the second degree, Fleeing and Eluding a Police Officer, a felony of the third degree, Resisting Arrest, a misdemeanor of the second degree, and Driving Under the Influence, a misdemeanor. An additional license suspension of 12 months will be imposed for refusal to submit to testing when arrested. Trooper Michael Mogish of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Winters following investigation of an incident that occurred in Sheshequin Township on Dec. 8, 2018.

Joseph Johnson, 29, Towanda, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for three months to 12 months, and fines of $1500.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Deputy Brian Wibirt of the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office arrested Johnson for the offense occurring on Jan. 30, 2019 in Towanda Borough.

Elmer Beileman, 21, of Sayre, was sentenced to Incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for three months to 23 months and 29 days, in addition to fines of $1000.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Trooper Michael Morariu of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Beileman following investigation of an incident that occurred in South Creek Township on Sept. 24, 2018.

Mitch Johnson, 26, of Towanda, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for three months to 12 months, and fines of $250.00, plus court costs, for the offenses of two counts of Theft, the first a felony, and the second a misdemeanor of the third degree. Johnson had been sentenced to probation but failed to comply with the conditions. Probation was revoked and the case was set for resentencing. Sergeant Keith Stackhouse of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Johnson for the offenses occurring on Aug. 16, 2018.

Chad McKean, 32, of Ulster, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for two months to 23 months and 29 days, fines of $250.00, plus court costs, and restitution of $1725.00 for the offense of simple assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. McKean had been sentenced to probation but failed to comply with the conditions. Probation was revoked and the case was set for resentencing. Trooper Joseph Bednarski of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested McKean following investigation of an incident that occurred in Rome Township on Jan. 7, 2018.

Blair Chatt, 24, of Waverly, New York, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for two month to 12 months, plus court costs, for the offense of Theft, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Chatt had been sentenced to probation but failed to comply with the conditions. Probation was revoked and the case was set for resentencing. Officer Roger Clink of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Chatt for the offense occurring on Sept. 2, 2016.

Adam Reese, 37, Wyalusing, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to six months, fines of $1500.00, for the offense of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Reese will also lose his driver’s license for 1 month. Trooper Gregory Pimm of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Reese following investigation of an incident that occurred in Orwell Township on Aug. 18, 2018.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons recently entered pleas of guilty in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pennsylvania:

Blaise Devine, 19, LeRaysville, entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of Recklessly Endangering another Person, a misdemeanor of the second degree and Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Devine will be sentenced on Sept. 12, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Josiah Reiner of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Devine following investigation of incidents that occurred in Rome Township on March 24, 2019.

Alex Buttito, 20, Wilmot Township, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Terroristic Threats, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Buttito will be sentenced on Aug. 26, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Josiah Reiner of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Buttito following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wilmot Township on March 23, 2019.

Jose Ventura, 25, Reston, Virginia, entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree, Resisting Arrest, a misdemeanor of the second degree, Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree, Public Drunkenness, a summary offense, and Retail Theft, also a summary offense. Ventura will be sentenced on Aug. 26, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Thomas VanFleet of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Ventura for the offenses on March 11, 2019.

Stephen A. Martin, 36, Lowman, New York, entered a plea of guilty to the offense Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Martin will be sentenced on a later date, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper William Clark of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Martin following investigation of an incident that occurred at the BCCF in Burlington Township on August 2017.

Tracy VanDyke, 42, Gillett, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Criminal Trespass, a felony of the second degree. VanDyke will be sentenced on Sept. 12, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Michael Mogish of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested VanDyke following investigation of an incident that occurred in Ridgebury Township in August of 2018.

Tracy VanDyke, 42, Gillett, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Criminal Trespass, a felony of the second degree. VanDyke will be sentenced on Sept. 12, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Gregory Pimm of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested VanDyke following investigation of an incident that occurred in Ridgebury Township in August of 2018.

Chelsea Cole, 34, Waverly, New York, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Cole will be sentenced on July 29, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Christopher Warren of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Cole for the offense on Jan. 29, 2019.

Ryan Barrowcliff, 28, Ulster, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving Under the Influence, a misdemeanor. Barrowcliff will be sentenced on Sept. 12, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Luke Geiger of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Barrowcliff following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough on July 20, 2018.

Ryan Barrowcliff, 28, Ulster, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Barrowcliff will be sentenced on Sept. 12, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Michael Ceely, 29, of Troy entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Ceely will be sentenced on Sept. 12, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Brian Wibirt of the Bradford County Sheriff’s Department arrested Ceely following investigation of an incident that occurred in Troy Borough on May 14, 2019.

Michael Ceely, 29, of Troy entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Ceely will be sentenced on Sept. 12, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Brian Jenkins of the Troy Borough Police Department arrested Ceely following investigation of an incident that occurred in Troy Borough on June 13, 2018.

Michael Ceely, 29, of Troy entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession with Intent to Deliver (Heroin), less than 1 gram, a felony. Ceely will be sentenced on Sept. 12, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Kevin Hibson of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Ceely following investigation of an incident that occurred in Troy Borough on March 19, 2018.

Trevor Fletcher, 19, Gillett, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Criminal Mischief, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Fletcher will be sentenced on Sept. 12, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Robert Borkowski of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Fletcher following investigation if an incident that occurred in Ridgebury Township on Aug. 2, 2017.

David Terrell, 44, Canton, entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of two counts of Burglary, one a felony of the first degree, and the other, a felony of the second degree. Terrell will be sentenced on a later date, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Gregory Pimm of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Terrell following investigation of incidents that occurred in Troy and Canton Township on Dec. 23, 2018 and Dec. 25, 2018.

Merrell Ayers, 28, Towanda, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Corruption of Minors, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Ayers will be sentenced on a later date, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Ayers for the offense on April 10, 2019.

Ayers will be sentenced on a later date, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Nikki Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Ayers for the offense on Jan. 16, 2019.

Robert Hulslander, 20, Canton, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Trooper Gregory Pimm of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Terrell following investigation of incidents that occurred in Canton Township on March 22, 2019.

Cody Shipman, 28, Waverly, New York, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Shipman will be sentenced on Aug. 26, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Casey Shiposh of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Shipman for the offense on Feb. 11, 2019.

Ryan Paradis, 33, Cayuta, New York, entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of two counts of Retail Theft, both misdemeanors of the first degree. Paradis will be sentenced on Aug. 26, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer John Fedorchak and Officer Jason Serfas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Paradis for the offenses on Feb. 9, 2018 and April 30, 2018.

Dustin Manuel, 29, Waverly, New York, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Manuel will be sentenced on Aug. 26, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Jason Serfas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Manuel for the offense on Aug. 31, 2018.

Todd Moore, 31, Sayre, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving Under the Influence, a misdemeanor, after he was placed in the ARD diversionary program but failed to comply with the conditions of the program. Moore will be sentenced on Aug. 26, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Gregory Pimm of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Moore following investigation of an incident that occurred in Albany Township on Oct. 28, 2018.

Christopher Owenburg, 32, Wellsburg, New York, entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of two counts of Driving Under the Influence, the first a misdemeanor, and the second a misdemeanor of the first degree. Owenburg will be sentenced on Aug. 26, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Justin Walton and Trooper Gregory Pimm both of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Owenburg following investigation of incidents that occurred in South Creek Township on Dec. 10, 2018 and March 17, 2019.

Roger Hurd, 22, Tioga, entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, a felony, Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Hurd will be sentenced on Aug. 26, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Sergeant James Shaw of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Hurd for the offenses on May 29, 2018.

Carl Vaughan, 51, Gillett, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Tampering with Physical Evidence, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Vaughan will be sentenced on Aug. 15, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Terence Foley of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Vaughan following investigation of an incident that occurred in South Creek Township on March 7, 2019.

Steven Cieri, 38, Gillett, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Recklessly Stolen Property, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Cieri will be sentenced on a later date, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Gregory Pimm of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Cieri following investigation of an incident that occurred in Canton Township on Dec. 23, 2018.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following entered a plea of “no contest.” The plea has the same effect as a guilty plea. It is entered when a defendant cannot recall the crime charged.

Bernadette VanDyke, 45, Gillett, entered a plea of nolo contendere/no contest to Theft by Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the first degree. VanDyke will be sentenced on Sept. 12, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County probation Department. A no-contest plea is entered where the defendant cannot recall the event but will be held guilty and sentenced. Trooper Michael Mogish of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested VanDyke following investigation of an incident that occurred in Ridgebury Township.
