District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pennsylvania:

Joseph Neely, 55, Wysox, was resentenced to incarceration in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility for 24 months to 120 months, plus court costs, for the offense of Possession with Intent to Deliver (methamphetamine), a felony. Neeley had been sentenced to State Intermediate Punishment Program but did not complete the program and he was resentenced. He will receive credit for time incarcerated before and during the earlier sentence. Trooper Michael Adams of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Neeley following investigation of an incident that occurred in Rome Township in 2016.

Abram Fulford, 24, Troy, was sentenced to Probation Supervision for a term of 12 months, fines of $150.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer Brian Jenkins of the Troy Borough Police Department arrested Fulford for the offense occurring on Sept. 22, 2018.

Joseph Laughlin, 31, Sayre, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for nine days to 23 months, 29 days, fines of $500.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Officer Nate Ross of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Laughlin for the offense occurring on Jan. 29, 2019.

Adam Hogan, 33, Wysox, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for five days to six months, fine of $300.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Trooper Luke Geiger of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Hogan following investigation of an incident that occurred in Albany Township in Sept. 1, 2018.

Nicole VanDyke, 28, Rome, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for two months to 18 months, fines of $500.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Officer Ralph Dooley of the Troy Borough Police Department arrested VanDyke for the offense occurring on Nov. 24, 2018.

Shane Vanderpool, 38, Towanda, was sentenced to incarceration in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility for 16 months to 42 months, fines of $1,500.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Trooper Jacob Burgess of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Vanderpool following investigation of incident that occurred in North Towanda Township on Dec. 17, 2016.

Bryan Pelachick, 27, Athens, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 30 days to six months, fines $750.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Officer Derek Dekar of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Pelachick for the offense occurring on Oct. 13, 2018.

Gary Parker, 20, Towanda, was sentenced to Probation Supervision for a term of 18 months, fines of $500.00, plus court costs, for the offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Trooper Robert Borkowski and Trooper Justin Millard both of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Parker following investigation of incidents that occurred in Wysox Township on Oct. 15, 2018.

Jacob Howe, 37, Tioga, was sentenced to Probation Supervision for a term of 12 months, fines of $850.00, plus court costs, for the offenses of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and Harassment, a summary offense. Trooper Justin Millard of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Howe following investigation of incidents that occurred in South Creek Township.

Bradford County District Attorney, Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons recently entered guilty pleas in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pennsylvania:

Mark Garrison, 59, Elmira, New York, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Garrison will be sentenced on July 29, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Patrick Roman of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Garrison following investigation of an incident that occurred in Sheshequin Township on Jan. 29, 2019.

Shawn Leiser, 45, Towanda, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor. Leiser will be sentenced on July 29, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Michael Tracy of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Leiser following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wyalusing Borough on Feb. 24, 2019.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were recently accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pennsylvania:

Christian Platt, 18, Athens, charged with the offense of Retail Theft, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Platt will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Platt must perform 40 hours community service. Officer Hunter Condusta of the Athens Township Police Department filed the charges in Jan. 12, 2019 for the offense in Athens Township.

Caleb Smith, 22, Ulster, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Smith will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Smith must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper Adam Thomas of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Smith for the offense on March 3, 2019 in North Towanda Township.

Logan Proudfoot, 20, Elmira, New York, charged with the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Proudfoot will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Proudfoot must perform 60 hours of community service. Trooper Gregory Pimm of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Proudfoot for an offense on Sept. 6, 2018 in Springfield Township.

Matthew Benjamin, 29, Muncy Valley, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation Benjamin will be supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Benjamin must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department filed the charged in Feb. 9, 2019 for the offense in Towanda Borough.
