Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reports that the following persons recently were sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pennsylvania:

Amanda Anania, 43, Towanda, was sentenced to Incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for three months to 12 months, fines of $200.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Trooper Michael Mogish of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Anania following investigation of an incident that occurred in West Burlington Township on June 11, 2018.

Angel Lopez, 19, Elmira, New York, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 172 days to 18 months, fines of $100.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer John Fedorchak of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Lopez for the offense occurring on Nov. 11, 2018.

Robert Wagner, 58, of Monroeton, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 90 days + 72 hours to 30 months, followed by Probation Supervision for a term of 36 months, fines of $2,500.00, he will also lose his driver’s license for 18 months, for the offenses of two courts of Driving under the Influence of Drugs, a misdemeanor, (1/10), and a misdemeanor of the first degree, (2/10). Trooper James Gaizick and Trooper Gregory Pimm, both of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Wagner following investigation of incidents that occurred in Monroe Township on Oct. 13, 2017 and Oct. 26, 2017.

Dylan Cavanaugh, 25, Morris, was sentenced to fines of $100.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Harassment, a summary offense. Trooper Blade Bernosky of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Cavanaugh following investigation of an incident that occurred in Canton Township on Sept. 18, 2018.

Justin Teel, 30, of New Albany, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to six months, fines of $500.00, plus court costs. Teel was placed in the ARD diversionary program but failed to comply with the program. The ARD was revoked and Teel plead guilty. Teel’s offense is Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, (1/10), a misdemeanor. Trooper Anthony Avvisato of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Teel following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township.

Timothy Davis, 44, Canton, sentenced to incarceration in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility for a term of 12 months + 90 days to 60 months, fines of $1,500.00, plus court costs. Davis had been sentenced to probation but failed to comply with the conditions. Probation was revoked and the case was set for resentencing. Davis’s offense was Driving under the Influence of Drugs, a misdemeanor of the first degree, (2/10). Trooper Taylor Smith of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Davis following investigation of an incident that occurred in Canton Township on Dec. 26, 2016.

Thomas McCutchen II, 49, Sayre, was sentenced to Probation Supervision for a term of 24 months, fines of $800.00, plus court costs, for Resisting Arrest, misdemeanor of the second degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Officer Thomas Zebrowski of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested McCutchen for the offense.

Skylar Smith, 27, Gillett, was sentenced to incarceration in a Pennsylvania State Correction Facility for 21 months to 63 months, fines of $500.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Failure to Comply with Sexual Offender Registration, a Felony of the third degree. Trooper Miranda Musick of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Smith following investigation of an incident that occurred in North Towanda Township on Aug. 17, 2018.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reports that the following persons recently entered guilty pleas in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pennsylvania:

Jennifer Newman, 39, Athens, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Newman will be sentenced on June 24, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Jason Serfas of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Newman for the offense on Nov. 30, 2018.

Joseph Johnson, 30, Towanda, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Johnson will be sentenced on June 24, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Deputy Brian Wibirt of the Bradford County Sheriff’s Department arrested Johnson for the offense on Jan. 30, 2019.

Ricky Hinkley, 50, Towanda, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Indecent Exposure, (13 counts), all misdemeanors of the second degree. Hinkley will be sentenced on June 26, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Justin Millard of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Hinkley following investigation of incidents that occurred in Monroe Township on various dates, throughout 2017-2018.

Aaron Trudeau, 36, Chemung, New York, was sentenced to Probation Supervision, fines of $150.00, plus court costs, he will also lose his driver’s license for 12 months, for the offense of Obstruction. Officer George Nichols of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Trudeau for the offense occurring on Oct. 4, 2018.

Erica Nowell, 37, of Towanda, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 30 days. Nowell was sentenced to County Intermediate Punishment for 24 months; County Intermediate Punishment involves a combination of restrictions and supervision. It may include home confinement, electronic monitor, and substance abuse treatment. Violations can result in incarceration. Nowell will pay court costs, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Trooper Michael Lamanna of the Towanda Borough arrested Nowell following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Borough on Feb. 8, 2019.

Anita Evans, 23, Athens, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 32 days to 12 months, fines of $150.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Drug Paraphernalia. Evans was re-sentenced, Evans failed to complete probation under a 2015 order and went to California for three years. She was apprehended in 2019 and was incarcerated and resentenced while in California she was convicted and incarcerated on other charges. Officer Andrew Stevens of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Evans for the offense occurring on March 7, 2015.

Rhonda Rogers, 40, Sayre, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 90 days (flat), followed by County Intermediate Punishment for 24 months. County Intermediate Punishment involves a combination of restrictions and supervision. It may include home confinement, electronic monitor, and substance abuse treatment. Violations can result in incarceration. Fines of $2,500.00 will be paid, plus court costs, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a felony of the third degree. Officer George Nichols of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Rogers for the offense occurring on Feb. 8, 2019.

Doyle Bonnell, 20, Canton, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 40 days to 12 months, fines of $100.00, plus court costs, Bonnell had been sentenced to probation but failed to comply with the conditions. Probation was revoked and the case was set for resentencing, for the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Chief Randy Epler of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Bonnell for the offense occurring on Aug. 19, 2018.

Dequett Cryan, 50, Troy, was sentenced to Probation Supervision for a term of 12 months, fines of $250.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Officer Ralph Dooley of the Troy Borough Police Department arrested Cryan for the offense occurring on Aug. 23, 2018.

Ryan Jelliff, 30, Corning, New York, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 45 days to 23 month, 29 days, fines of $700.00 for the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Officer Thomas VanFleet of Athens Township Police Department arrested Jelliff for the offense occurring on June 5, 2018.

Michael Zatlukal, 35, Waverly, New York, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 175 days to 23 months, 29 days, followed by Probation Supervision for a term of 12 months, fines of $1,250.00, plus court costs, he will also lose his driver’s license for 12 months, for the offense of Fleeing and Eluding, a misdemeanor of the second degree, and Recklessly Endangering another Person, misdemeanor of the second degree. Sergeant Keith Stackhouse of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Zatlukal for the offense occurring on Sept. 13, 2018.

Michael Harrington, 37, Warren Center, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 86 days to 12 months, fines of $250.00, for the offense of Possession of Drugs, a misdemeanor. Sergeant James Shaw of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Harrington for the offense occurring on Oct. 24, 2018.

Jesse Dupont, 26, Canton, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for six months to 18 months, fines of $800.00 for the offenses of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, (2/10), a misdemeanor, and Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Trooper Michael Morariu of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Dupont following investigation of incidents that occurred in Canton Township on Sept. 16, 2018.

Timothy Strickland, 27, Sayre, was sentenced to Bradford County Correctional Facility for 37 days to eight months, fines of $500.00, for the offense of Simple Assault. Officer Casey Shiposh of the Sayre Police Department arrested Strickland for the offense occurring on Feb. 3, 2019.

Darin McKean, 28, Sayre, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 76 days to 23 months, 29 days, fines of $550.00, for the offense of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Officer Nikki Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested McKean for the offense occurring on Sept. 27, 2019.

Jesse Watson, 33, Sayre, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 265 days to 23 months, 29 days, fines of $250.00, for the offense of Tampering with Physical Evidence. Officer Travis Snyder of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Watson for the offense occurring on March 31, 2019.

Roberto Molina, 41, Troy, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the third degree. Molina will be sentenced on July 22, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Ralph Dooley of the Troy Borough Police Department arrested Molina for the offense on Jan. 26, 2019.

John Yantin, 18, Troy, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Yantin will be sentenced on July 22, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Hunter Condusta of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Yantin for the offense on Jan. 12, 2019.

Allen Houseweart, 26, Canton, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Criminal Mischief, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Houseweart will be sentenced on July 22, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Former Officer Joshua Gleco of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Houseweart for the offense on Jan. 2, 2019.

Patricia Firestine, 27, Troy, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Access Device Fraud, a misdemeanor of the first degree. Firestine will be sentenced on July 22, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Nikki Hoffman of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Firestine for the offense on Dec. 20, 2018.

Patricia Firestine, 27, Troy, entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of Resisting Arrest, a misdemeanor of the second degree, and Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor. Firestine will be sentenced on July 22, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper John Kasheta of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Dewitt following investigation of incidents that occurred in Wyalusing Township on Jan. 6, 2018.

John House, 26, Columbia Cross Roads, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, (1-10), a misdemeanor. House will be sentenced on July 22, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Trooper Gregory Pimm of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested House following investigation of an incident that occurred in Springfield Township on Dec. 28, 2018.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were recently accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pennsylvania:

Timothy Davis, 20, of Canton, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence (Drug Related), was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Davis will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Davis must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 90 days. Trooper Justin Walton of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Davis for an offense on June 30, 2018 in Towanda Township.

Dusty Golden, 34, of Gillett, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence (Drug Related), was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Golden will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Golden must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper Michael Mogish of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Golden for an offense on Nov. 22, 2018 in Ridgebury Township.

Sheri Finnerty, 48, of Athens, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence (highest rate of alcohol), was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Finnerty will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Finnerty must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact panel and she will lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Officer Cody Welch of the Athens Borough Police Department filed the charges on Dec. 29, 2018 for the offense on Athens Borough.

Gary Mosier, 47, of Sugar Run, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence (Tier I), was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Mosier will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use. Additionally, Mosier must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days. Trooper John Kasheta of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Mosier for an offense on Feb. 6, 2019 in Wyalusing Township.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following entered a plea of “no contest.” The plea has the same effect as a guilty plea. It is entered when a defendant cannot recall the crime charged:

Janis Wood, 57, Columbia Township, entered a plea of nolo contendere/no contest to Possession of Controlled Substance. Wood will be sentenced on July 22, 2019, followed preparation of a pre-sentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. A no-contest plea is entered where the defendant cannot recall the event but will be held guilty and sentenced. Trooper Josiah Reiner of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Wood following investigation of an incident that occurred in Columbia Township.
