District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported the following recent criminal case resolution in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pennsylvania:

Brain Hendershot, 29, of Barton, New York, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Aggravated Assault by Vehicle while Driving under the Influence, a felony of the second degree. Hendershot will be sentenced on June 24, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. Officer Thomas Zebrowski of the Sayre Police Department arrested Hendershot for the offense on May 2018, following the April 21, vehicle collision.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons recently entered pleas of guilty and were sentenced in Bradford County Magisterial District Courts:

Jennifer Newman, 40, of Milan entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Todd Carr to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to a fine of $100.00, plus court costs. Trooper Cody Herman of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Newman for the offense on Oct. 7, 2018, following investigation of a possession that occurred in Ulster Township.

Michael Horton, 37, of Towanda entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Todd Carr to the offense of Small Amount of Marijuana, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to a fine of $100.00, plus court costs. Trooper Justin Walton of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Horton for the offense on Feb. 20, 2019, following investigation of a search of a residence for stolen property that occurred in Sheshequin Township at River Lane.

Jamin Merrill, 20, Waverly, New York, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Larry Hurley, to the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to a fine of $300.00, plus court costs. Officer Nathan Ross of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Merrill for the offense on April 1, 2019, following investigation of a possession of a controlled substance that occurring in Sayre Borough.

Edward McGowan, 37, of Towanda entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Todd Carr to the offense of Harassment, a summary, and was sentenced to a fine of $200.00, plus court costs. Sergeant David Lantz of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested McGowan for the offense on Jan. 31, 2019, following investigation of a assault that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Earl Lunn, 49, of Towanda entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Larry Hurley to the offense of Harassment, and was sentenced to a fine of $100.00, plus court costs. Trooper Gregory Pimm of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Lunn for the offense on July 28, 2018, following investigation of an assault that occurred in Monroe Township.

Kathleen Secules, 52, of Towanda entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Larry Hurley to the offense of Harassment, a summary and was sentenced to fines of $100.00, plus court costs. Trooper Gregory Pimm of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Secules for the offense on July 28, 2018, following investigation of an assault that occurred in Monroe Township.

Leon Peckman, 57, of Dundee, New York, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Larry Hurley to the offense of Ignition Interlock Violation, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to a fine of $300.00, plus court costs. Officer Thomas VanFleet of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Peckman for the offense on March 4, 2019, following investigation of a driving without ignition interlock that occurred in Athens Township.

Brandon Waite, 39, of Elmira, New York, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Larry Hurley to the offense of Agricultural Vandalism, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to time served (15 days) plus restitution of $900.00, plus court costs. Officer John Fedorchak of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Waite for the offense on June 26, 2018, following investigation of an agricultural vandalism that occurred in Athens Township.

Lacey Martin, 37, of Sayre entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Larry Hurley to the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and was sentenced to a fine of $250.00, plus court costs. Officer George Nichols of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Martin for the offense on April 12, 2019, following investigation of an assault that occurred in Sayre Borough.

James Wilkinson, 33, of Monroeton entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Todd Carr to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to a fine of $100.00, plus court costs. Trooper Blade Bernosky of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Wilkinson for the offense on Jan. 27, 2019, following investigation of an possess of drug paraphernalia that occurred in North Towanda Township.

Joshua Kelsey, 28, of Sayre entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Larry Hurley to the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and was sentenced to a fine of $250.00, plus court costs. Officer George Nichols of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested Kelsey for the offense on April 12, 2019, following investigation of an assault that occurred in Sayre Borough.

Arica Brown, 28, of Athens entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Fred Wheaton to the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to a fine of $100.00, plus court costs. Trooper Justin Walton of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Brown for the offense on Jan. 14, 2019, following investigation of a theft that occurred in Wysox Township at the Dandy Mini Mart.

Franchesca Bedford, 43, of Warren Center entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Fred Wheaton to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a summary offense and was sentenced to a fine of $100.00, plus court costs. Trooper Robert Borkowski of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Bedford for the offense on Dec. 12, 2018, following investigation of a traffic violation that occurred in Wyalusing Township.

Gregory Sims, 49, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Todd Carr to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to 13 days incarceration plus court costs. Officer Garrett Smith of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Sims for the offense on April 19, 2019, following investigation of a disturbance that occurred in Towanda Borough.
