Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons recently entered guilty pleas and were sentenced in Bradford County Magisterial District Courts:

Amanda Maddox, 34, Towanda, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Todd Carr to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a summary offense, and was sentenced to a fine of $300, plus court costs.

Corporal Norman Strauss of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Maddox for the offense on Feb. 17, 2019, following investigation of a disorderly conduct that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Doyle Bonnell, 20, Towanda, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Todd Carr to the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to 14 days, plus court costs.

Officer Joshua Lake of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Bonnell for the offense, on Feb. 27, 2019, following investigation of an assault that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Roza Reyes, 20, Wyalusing, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to a fine of $250, plus court costs.

Trooper Luke Geiger of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Reyes for the offense on Dec. 23, 2018, following investigation of a possession of drug paraphernalia that occurred in Wyalusing Borough.

Michael Bunch, 48, Brownsville, Pennsylvania, entered a plea of guilty before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to a fine of $250, plus court costs.

Trooper Luke Geiger of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Bunch for the offense on Oct. 26, 2018, following investigation of a possession of drug paraphernalia that occurred in Wysox Township.

Faith Brotzman, 20, Wyalusing, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Fred Wheaton to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to fines of $250, plus court costs.

Trooper Luke Geiger of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Brotzman for the offense on Jan. 14, 2019, following investigation of a possession of drug paraphernalia that occurred in Wyalusing Borough.

Robert Lane, 46, Millerton, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Jonathan Wilcox to the offense of Criminal Mischief, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to a fine of $200, restitution in the amount of $200, plus court costs.

Trooper Patrick Roman of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Lane for the offense on Dec. 17, 2018, following investigation of a traffic collision that occurred in Wells Township.

Noah Carpenter, 20, Canton, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge McCray to the offense of False ID to Law Enforcement, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to a fine of $100, plus court costs.

Officer Marcus Watkins of the Canton Borough Police Department arrested Carpenter for the offense on Nov. 17, 2018, following investigation of an underage drinking party that occurred in Canton Borough.

Jacob Demellier, 19, Elmira, New York, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Todd Carr to the offense of Harassment, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and was sentenced to a fine of $100, plus court costs.

Trooper Mohamad Saloukha of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Demellier for the offense on May 3, 2018, following investigation of a harassment that occurred in Towanda Township.

Kyle Oliver, 61, Towanda, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Todd Carr to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and was sentenced to fines of $100, plus court costs.

Officer Bryan Bellows of the Towanda Borough Police arrested Oliver for the offense on Jan. 11, 2019, following investigation of a possession that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Brandon Luckman, 30, Towanda, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Todd Carr, to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to 15 days, plus court costs.

Clinton Lantz, 20, Sayre, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge Larry Hurley, to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentence to a fine of $300, plus court costs.

Officer Christopher Warren of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Lantz for the offense on Jan. 9, 2019, following investigation of a possession of drug paraphernalia that occurred in Athens Township.

Bobbi Jo Noto, 36, Towanda, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge, Todd Carr, to the offense of Theft, a misdemeanor of the third degree, and was sentenced to a fine of $100, restitution in the amount of $259, plus court costs.

Officer Michael Lamanna of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Noto for the offense on Feb. 17, 2019, following investigation of a theft that occurred in Towanda Borough.

Dale Yates, 49, Towanda, entered a plea of guilty before District Magisterial Judge, Todd Carr to the offense of Criminal Mischief, a misdemeanor of the third degree and was sentenced to restitution in the amount of $810, plus court costs.

Trooper Patrick Roman of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Yates for the offense on Dec. 30, 2018, following investigation of a criminal mischief that occurred in New Albany Borough.

Samantha Mooney, 25, Towanda, entered a plea of guilty District Magisterial Judge, Todd Carr to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and was sentenced to a fine of $100, plus court costs.

Virginia Smiley, 52, Roaring Branch, was sentenced to Probation Supervision for a term of 12 months, fines of $300, restitution of $2,010.35, plus court costs, for the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the first degree.

Shawn Waibel, 48, Waverly, New York, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 45 days to six months, fines of $750, plus court costs, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor.

Scott Morley, 32, Athens, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for three months to six months, fines of $500, plus court costs, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor (drug related).

Robert Hulslander, 18, Mt. Vernon, Georgia, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for two months to 12 months, plus court costs, for the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Hulslander had been sentenced to probation but failed to comply with the conditions. Probation was revoked and the case was set for resentencing. Hulslander offense includes Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree

Trooper Scott Shipman of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Hulslander following investigation of an incident that occurred in Columbia Township on July 31, 2018.

Tyler Fehrenbach, 39, Troy, was sentenced to Bradford County Correctional Facility to six months to 23 months, 29 days, fines of $300, plus court costs, for the offenses of two counts of Simple Assault, misdemeanors of the second degree.

Trooper Justin Walton of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Fehrenbach following investigation of the incidents that occurred in Troy Township (BCCF) on March 14, 2019.

Fellicia VanDyke, 30, of Towanda, was sentenced to Probation Supervision for a term of 12 months, fines of $250, plus court costs, for the offense of Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree.

Officer Travis Snyder of the Sayre Borough Police Department arrested VanDyke for the offense occurring on June 12, 2019.

Brandon Williams, 21, of Towanda, was sentenced to incarceration in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility for nine months to 36 months, fines of $600, restitution of $400, plus court costs, for the offense of Criminal Trespass, a felony, and Theft, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Williams Probation was revoked and Williams was resentenced. Williams’s sentences are consecutive to his other sentences, total aggregate is 13 months, 59 months, 29 days.

Robert Cianfoni, 32, of Athens, was sentenced to Probation Supervision for a term of 18 months, fines of $350, plus court costs, restitution of $400, for the offenses of Agricultural Vandalism, a misdemeanor of the second degree, Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the third degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

Michael Cook, 31, of Towanda, was sentenced to Probation Supervision for a term of 12 months, plus court costs, for the offenses of Corruption of Minors, a misdemeanor of the first degree.

John Burdick, 29, of Sayre, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to six months, followed by Probation Supervision for a term of 18 months, fines of $2,000, for the offenses of Driving under the Influence (Drug related), and Possession with Intent to Deliver.

Officer Thomas VanFleet of the Athens Township Police Department arrested Burdick for the offenses occurring on Aug. 28, 2018, and Officer Casey Shiposh of the Sayre Borough Police Department also arrested Burdick for the offenses occurring on Aug. 19, 2018.

Adam Hogan, 33, Wysox, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor.

Hogan will be sentenced on May 30, 2019, following preparation of a presentenced report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Gerald Green, 25, Gillett, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, (2/10), a misdemeanor of the first degree.

Green will be sentenced on May 30, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Trooper Adam Thomas of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Green following investigation of an incident that occurred in Ridgebury Township on Aug. 7, 2018.

Paul Riggie, 55, Folsom, California, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession with Intent to Deliver, a felony offense.

Riggie will be sentenced on May 30, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Trooper Francis Carito of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Riggie following investigation of an incident that occurred in Towanda Township on Jan. 18, 2017.

Lorrie Parsons, 48, Dushore, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the second degree, and Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor.

Parsons will be sentenced on May 30, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Sergeant David Lantz of the Towanda Borough Police Department and Chief Randy Epler also of the Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Parsons for the offenses on Dec. 12, 2018, and Nov. 29, 2018.

Abram Fulford, 24, Troy, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking, a misdemeanor of the first degree.

Fulford will be sentenced on May 30, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Mark Saxbury, 54, Towanda, entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, also a misdemeanor.

Saxbury will be sentenced on May 30, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Trooper Robert Borkowski of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Saxbury following investigation of an incident that occurred in Sheshequin Township o Nov. 3, 2018.

Gary Parker, 20, Towanda, entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor and Possession of a Controlled Substance, also a misdemeanor.

Parker will be sentenced on May 30, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Troopers Robert Borkowski and Justin Millard both of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Parker on June 22, 2018 in Towanda Borough and Wysox Township on Oct. 15, 2019.

Wayne Talada, 32, of Athens, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Indecent Assault, a misdemeanor.

Talada will be sentenced on June 20, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Jacob Howe, 37, Tioga, entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and Harassment, a summary offense.

Howe will be sentenced on May 30, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

Trooper Justin Millard of the Pennsylvania State Police arrested Howe following investigation if an incident that occurred in South Creek Township on Nov. 15, 2018.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were recently accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas, Towanda, Pennsylvania:

Brandy Firestine, 42, Athens, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation Firestine will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use.

Additionally, Firestine must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and she will lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days.

Officer George Nichols of the Sayre Borough Police Department filed the charges on Dec. 21, 2018, for the offense in Sayre Borough.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following entered a plea of “no contest.” The plea has the same effect as a guilty plea. It is entered when a defendant cannot recall the crime charged.

John Watkins, 34, Sayre, , entered a plea of nolo contendere/no contest to Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree.

Watkins will be sentenced on June 20, 2019, following preparation of a pre-sentence report by the Bradford County probation Department.

A no-contest plea is entered where the defendant cannot recall the event but will be held guilty and sentenced.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were convicted at jury trials:

Charles Hakes, 62, Towanda, was convicted at a jury trial of Corruption of Minors, a felony of the third degree.

Hakes will be sentenced on May 9, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

The conviction will require a registration as a sexual offender.

Clayton Tillotson, 24, Roaring Branch,was found guilty after a jury trial of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance, a misdemeanor, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, and Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, a misdemeanor.
