Gregory Jackson, 47, of Ithica is facing DUI related charges following an incident in Athens on July 4.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, Athen Township police initiated a traffic stop on Jackson after receiving a report that he smelled strongly of alcohol before driving away from the scene. Jackson failed to perform a standard field sobriety test and refused further testing.
Jackson is facing charges of misdemeanor DUI: general impairment of driving safely — first offense, summary violation careless driving, summary violation driving without a license and summary violation fail to keep right.
Jackson is in the Bradford County Correctional Facility on $5,000 bail and has a preliminary hearing on July 16 with Magisterial District Judge Larry Hurley.
