Donald Norman Jacobi of Towanda, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019.

Donald was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, the son of the late Norman and Viola Jacobi.

At the time of his retirement he was an employee of the Towanda School District.

Donald is survived by his loving wife, Karen M. Jacobi; a daughter and her husband, Donna and John Gillette of Florida; mother-in-law, Esther “MaMa” Dinelli of Towanda; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Donald Johnson, Nancy and Ronald Potter, all of Towanda, Yvonne and Howard Fowler of Monroeton and Annette and Alex Hogan of Wysox; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Kyleen Dinelli of Towanda. He is also survived by God son, Matthew R. Johnson, along with many nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Donald was predeceased by his brother, Jerry Jacobi of West Virginia.

There are no calling hours. There will be a celebration of his life from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at his home at 104 Ward Avenue, Towanda.
