Edwin L. Bidlack Jr., age 54, of Wyalusing, Pennsylvania passed away tragically on Friday, June 14, 2019.

Ed was born on July 13, 1964, in Towanda, Pennsylvania, son of Edwin L. Bidlack Sr. and Ruth I. Dyer Bidlack. He graduated from SRU High School in the class of 1983. Ed worked for Welles Mill Co. for many years before leaving to start his own business, Bidlack’s Heating Co. 

Ed was an honest, hardworking, giving and selfless husband, father, grandfather and friend. Ed was a lifelong racecar driver and racing enthusiast. He traveled throughout the U.S. to attend NASCAR and other races. He was known by his racecar #42 in the late model class. He and Candy loved to take camping trips and motorcycle rides all over the United States, stopping at state and national parks and other points of interest along the way. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Surviving are his daughter, Danielle Lear of Sugar Run, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Gage, Jordan, Juliet and Cash Lear of Sugar Run; mother, Ruth I. Dyer Bidlack of Menifee, California; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale (Patricia) Bidlack of Sayre, Pennsylvania and Stephen (Darcy) Bidlack  of Towanda; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jacalyn (Mark) Sullivan of Fallbrook, California, Patricia (Rick) LaConte of Menifee and Dawn Bidlack Banner and Patricia Douglas of Menifee; sister-in-law and husband, Esther (Bryan) Shay of Sayre; son-in-law, Drapper Lear of Panama City, Florida; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. 

He was predeceased by his father, Edwin Bidlack Sr.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA, with the Pastor Josh Payne, of Troy Victory Church, officiating. Interment to follow at the Wyalusing Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home.
