Elizabeth Redding Davies, 81, of Towanda, Pennsylvania, peacefully passed away on June 1, 2019. Born May 4, 1938, Elizabeth was proud to recently return to Towanda, where she was born and raised. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Willis and Helen Redding.

She is survived by her brother, Dr. David Redding; sons, Lee Kahler (wife Suzanne) and Carl Francis Finke; grandson, Conner Finke; nephew, Steven Redding; and many wonderful friends who meant so much to her.

Elizabeth, known to all who loved her as Liz, was a graduate of Towanda High School, class of 56’, and of Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. For more than 40 years she was a devoted and loving special education teacher.

Liz loved all animals. A donation in her memory can be made to Bradford County Humane Society, US-220, Ulster, PA 18850.

Everyone is invited to a celebration of life service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at First Presbyterian Church, 5 Court St., Towanda, PA, 18848.
