Jesse Lee Northrup, age 31, of Wyalusing, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019.

Jesse was born on July 2, 1987, in Sayre, Pennsylvania, son of Ed and Candy Bidlack.  He graduated from Wyalusing High School in the class of 2006. After high school, Jesse joined the Army infantry, from which he was honorably discharged in 2009, after receiving numerous medals for service to his nation.

Jesse liked spending time with his nieces and nephews. He loved movies, spending time at the gym, and taking pride in his truck. He had a great sense of humor, and could make anyone laugh. In the last few years he struggled with mental illness, and was currently receiving treatment.  

Surviving are, his sister, Danielle Lear of Sugar Run, Pennsylvania; nieces and nephews, Gage, Jordan, Juliet, and Cash Lear of Sugar Run; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 21, 2019 at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA, with the Pastor James Donahue, presiding.  Interment will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Military honors will be accorded by members of the United States Army detail.
