Kirtis John Geer, age 38, of Franklin Township, passed away unexpectedly at his home.

“Curly” as he was known by friends, was born March 17, 1981 in Sayre, to David and Wanita (Carl) Geer. Kirt attended Towanda High School and was a graduate of the class of 1999 and also Northern Tier Career Center in Towanda, where he obtained his Electrical Certification. He was employed by the Bradford County Correctional Facility as a maintenance worker.

Kirt was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and ATVs. He could often be found tinkering on engines or anything mechanical. He had a kind heart and a warm smile that will be remembered by all who knew him.

Surviving Kirtis are his parents; David and Wanita Geer, of Franklin Township, a brother: Bradlee (Samantha) Geer, very special nephew, Wyatt Geer, all of Granville Summit.

In keeping with Kirtis’s wishes there will be no services. Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility in Canton is assisting the family with arrangements. Share memories and condolences at www.pepperfuneralhomes.com.
