Stacey R. Stone, 33 of Gillett, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, July 3, 2019.

Stacey Ranae, “Sisserbug” as known by family, was born Oct. 19, 1985 in Sayre, a daughter of Kenneth E. and Cherryl J. (Heasley) Stone of Gillett.

Stacey was a graduate of Troy Area High School, class of 2004. Most recently she was employed in Customer Service at the Elmira location of the Dollar General Store.

Stacey loved looking pretty and was very particular about her hair and makeup. At times she was a private person and other times a social butterfly, being quite the jokester. Stacey could not only take a good teasing but also give it back. She loved her family and will be lovingly remembered for her beautiful smile, wonderful hugs and nervous giggle.

In addition to her beloved parents, Ken and Cherryl. Surviving are four siblings, Anthony (Pam) Stone, Hunter (Maryah) Stone, Trapper and Autumn Stone all of Gillett; maternal grandmother, Sylvia Heasley of Columbia Cross Roads; many aunts, uncles and cousins, two nephews and a niece, Braxton, Zayne, Hensley, several dear friends and her faithful dog, Patches.

Stacey was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Robert “Bob” and Louis Stone; maternal grandfather, Charles Heasley; two uncles, Ronald Stone, Terry Miller; cousins, Clifton Jr. (Sarah) Heasley, Danielle Heasley, Adam Heasley and Terry Spencer.
