The Towanda Minors softball team picked up a win on Saturday over Southern Tioga 11-1 and they are now one win away from a district title.
Southern Tioga falls into the consolation bracket and gets the winner of Canton and RTL on Monday. Towanda sees the winner on Wednesday. One win and they take the title; the other team would have to win twice to take the title.
Towanda got three runs in the first and added seven in the third on their way to the four inning victory.
Bryn Vargason threw a no-hitter for Towanda, striking out nine in the game.
Payton Perry had three hits and scored three runs for Towanda and Vargason scored a run, while Johnson had a hit.
Caedence Wells had a hit and scored two runs and Hannah Crawford had a hit.
Brylee Bailey had two hits, with a double, and a run scored and Addy Bardell had a hit and scored a run.
Leila Cobb scored a run and Lynsie Munkittrick scored a run.
Claire Dominick and Kameron Lighter pitched for Southern Tioga and Madison Smith scored their run after walking. Dominick and Lighter combined to strike out five.

RTL scored seven runs in the third on their way to the win.
Logan Norton had three hits and scored two runs and Isaac Shaffer had a double and scored two runs.
Kenny Mapes had three hits, with two doubles, and he scored two runs, while striking out five on the mound.
Hunter House had two hits, with a double, and scored two runs and Tacoma Vanderpool had a hit and scored a run.
Jacob Bankes had two hits and scored two runs and Nick Wheeler scored two runs, while James rogan had a hit and scored a run.
RTL hosts Southern Tioga, who topped Towanda, on Wednesday.
