The Waverly girls’ golf team earned its 98th win in a row over Moravia, 165-254, to finish the regular season 31-0.

The Wolverines traveled to Fillmore Glen Golf Club in Locke, New York to play the par-35 front nine. Capria Picco shot a 39 that included a birdie on the 351-yard, par-4 ninth hole. Alex Tomasso finished with a 41, birdying on the par-4, 307-yard eighth hole. Sidney Tomasso shot a 42 and Gianna Pico shot a 43. In non-scoring rounds, Gabby Picco shot a 45, and Madi Kittle finished at 53.

“We played pretty good, first time we’ve ever been there so that was interesting in itself, but we did really well,” coach Pete Girolamo said after the win.
