There were some fireworks Tuesday evening as Wyalusing rallied to beat Troy 7-6 in Legion baseball action.

Troy scored six runs in the top of the first to take a commanding lead.

Wyalusing began chipping away starting in the fourth and found themselves down 6-5 entering the bottom of the seventh.

Kevin Vandermark led off with a double followed by Robbie English reaching on a bunt single to put runners on the corners. Nick Kelley’s sacrifice fly brought in Vandermark to knot the game up.

After a strikeout Zach Bruyn got the walk-off as his hit drove in English for the win.

Bruyn had four hits in the game, including a double, while Vandermark and Jake Carr each had three.

Kaden Engisch added two hits while Zach Shaffer, Mason McGroarty and English had one hit a piece.

Carr started but went one inning. He allowed all six runs, which were earned, while striking out one and walking three.

Blake Morningstar went the final six innings for the win. He struck out eight and allowed no walks.

Kory Schucker had two hits for Troy with Tyler Williams getting one.

Evan Short started and went five innings to allow 10 hits, two runs and two walks with three strikeouts for Troy.

Wyalusing travels to Canton on Friday with a 6 p.m. start.
